KK’S Priest at The Fillmore

Heavy metal meets speed, ushering in the Fall of 2024! A freight train called the “Full Metal Assault” Tour is barreling towards The Fillmore of New Orleans this September 26, leaving a trail of untold destruction. Our two co-headlining bands, KK’s Priest and Accept, join forces to conquer the concert circuit through 28 thunderous performances all over North America. The tour also marks a full circle moment for guitarist KK Downing, whose former band Judas Priest shared stages with Accept over 40 years ago in 1983.

“This is a spectacle not to be missed, and this is possibly the one and only time in history for you to witness this iconic duel. Who will be the victor? You will be the judge,” Downing exclaimed in a press release.

The “Full Metal Assault” Tour grants our two bands a headlining opportunity for their newest albums via Napalm Records. Deeper and darker than its predecessor, The Sinner Rides Again by KK’s Priest is a nine-tracker crackling with the ferocity of Tim “Ripper” Owens’ beastly vocals. It claimed a Top 5 spot in the UK Rock & Metal Albums chart, featuring hits like the venomous “Strike of the Viper,” the hard-as-nails “Pledge Your Soul,” and other aggressively riffed roof-raisers guaranteed to give you a shot of adrenaline.

Accept’s Humanoid LP, meanwhile, invigorates the dogged spirit of the legendary German metal speedsters. Wolf Hoffman’s slashing guitar licks propel frontman Mark Tornillo’s voice with deadly velocity, swiping the Top 5 of Austrian, German, and Polish charts. Embrace the whiplash as the explosive firestarter “Diving into Sin” bursts into “The Reckoning,” blazing into more monstrous melodies until the steely-edged “Southside of Hell.”

Of course, the mayhem doesn’t stop there! Born of the blood of Judas, KK’s Priest also seeks to inflict grievous heavy metal hits upon you with some of their earlier singles, such as “Hellfire Thunderbolt” and “One More Shot at Glory.” Accept will then violate speed limits the good old German way through the unrepentant thrash music acclaimed and epitomized in their Balls to the Wall (1983) and Blind Rage (2014) LPs.
